Hello, I'm Dorian! I'm a 20-year-old psychology student, research assistant, and storyteller with a passion for exploring the intersections of human behaviour, creativity, and communication. My academic focus on psychology informs much of my work, from research projects to creative endeavours.
In 2024, I served as a Visual Arts Sub-Editor for Pelican Magazine, contributing to its dynamic print and digital platforms. I am also the Editor-in-Chief of the indie and international arts journal Antler Velvet, which I founded to amplify bold, emerging voices in the arts.
As a research assistant, I’ve contributed to projects exploring human behaviour and social dynamics, bringing the same curiosity and analytical skills to my creative practice. My role as the 2023 President of the BPhil Union saw me combine these interests, spearheading marketing initiatives and creating UWA's first alternate reality game, Project Vigiseq, to engage students in innovative ways.
My poetry and visual work have been published in local ventures such as Pulch Magazine, Pelican, Licorice Zine, and Punch Mag. Active in Perth’s independent publishing scene, I frequently collaborate with young editors and creators, blending my psychological insight with artistic expression.
